Dietmar Mampel is a member of the Practice Department Real Estate. In the development of real estate projects he gives comprehensive legal advice to clients on all relevant public and administrative law matters, including state and regional planning, the drawing up and enactment of zoning plans and the final grant of building licences and permits. He also secures building projects against legal remedies of third parties and possesses extensive forensic experience with litigation before administrative courts, particularly in the areas of public planning and construction law, environmental protection law and the law of departmental and sectoral planning.
From 1976 until 2000 Dietmar Mampel held judicial office as a Judge at the Administrative Court in Gelsenkirchen and from 1991 onwards he also served as a judge in a Chamber for Building Land Matters at the District Court Essen. From May 2000 until July 2006 he practised law in the lawyer's office Redeker, Sellner, Dahs & Widmaier, lastly as a partner. In the middle of July 2006 he changed offices to the law firm Taylor Wessing in Düsseldorf.
Dietmar Mampel is editor of the "Informationsdienst Baurechtssammlung" (Information Service Public Planning and Construction Law Collection) and a regular contributor to the journal "Baurecht" (Public Planning and Construction Law). He also contributes to the "Münchener Prozessformularbuch Verwaltungsrecht" (Munich Book of Forms on Administrative Law Litigation) and the "Münchener Anwaltshandbuch Verwaltungsrecht" (Munich Lawyer's Handbook Administrative Law). For many years Dietmar Mampel has lectured and written legal articles and essays, especially on public planning and construction law, environmental protection law and the law of administrative court procedure.
