Claus Peter Knufinke – Partner

Claus Peter Knufinke was born in Gelsenkirchen in 1963. He studied Law and Economics at the University of Bayreuth and Law at the University of Freiburg i.Br. In 1988, he passed the First Legal State Exam. He served from 1988 to 1989 in the Army. He passed his Second Legal State Exam in Baden-Wuerttemberg in 1993. Claus Peter Knufinke was admitted to the Bar in 1993 and started to work with the law firm Schreiber & Knufinke before joining our law firm in 1996.

Claus Peter Knufinke is a partner of our law firm and responsible for General Civil Law, Insurance and Telecommunications Law and for the organisation of the Collection Department. Claus Peter Knufinke is active as a trial counsel. He mainly specializes in matters of Contract Law and commercial problems. In view of his work for insurance companies, he has great experience in the field of Insurance Law, especially in technical insurance matters. Claus Peter Knufinke also advises and represents companies in the telecommunications sector.
