Claudius is a member of the Practice Area Trademarks and Designs. He advises on all aspects of intellectual property law, both contentious and non-contentious. His practice has a strong focus on the media, IT, consumer goods and cosmetics industries.
Claudius was a pupil at an English boarding school. After passing his A-Levels, he studied law at the universities of Passau and Münster. Following the first legal state exam in 2006, Claudius began writing a doctoral thesis on a topic related to the right of the press. During his legal clerkship, which he spent in Hamburg, he placed a strong emphasis on competition, trademark and press law. After passing the second state exam, Claudius joined our office in Hamburg in early 2011.
Claudius, a German native, is fluent in English and has a basic command of French.
