Focusing on IP-related matters, Christian represents national and international companies particularly in issues relating to patent, trademark, competition and copyright laws. His legal services notably include the representation of clients in various court proceedings.
After training as a banker, Christian passed his first and second legal state exams in Munich in 1992 and 1996. He was awarded his doctor of laws (Dr.jur.) in 1994. In 1996, he joined a German law firm in Munich, specialising from the outset in the field of intellectual property, where he became coordinator of the IP practice group. Christian joined Taylor Wessing as a partner in August 2003. Juve refers to him as "frequently recommended lawyer" for patent litigation matters (Juve Handbook 2006/2007).
Christian is a member of the German Association on Industrial Property and Copyright (GRUR), the Association Internationale pour la Protection de la Propriété Industrielle (AIPPI) and the Association des Anciens Stagaires de l'Union Européenne (ADEK).
He is furthermore a member of the German-Japanese Association of Jurists (DJJV), where he holds the position of spokesman for the state of Bavaria.
