Focusing on IP-related matters, Christian advices and represents national and international companies particularly in issues relating to patent law. He specializes notably in patent litigation, including the management and coordination of international, multi-jurisdictional litigation

After training as a banker, Christian passed his first and second legal state exams in Munich in 1992 and 1996. He was awarded his doctor of laws (Dr. jur.) in 1994. In 1996, he joined a German law firm in Munich, specialising from the outset in the field of intellectual property, where he became coordinator of the IP practice group.

Christian joined Taylor Wessing as a partner in August 2003.

He is a member of the German Association on Industrial Property and Copyright (GRUR), the Association Internationale pour la Protection de la Propriété Industrielle (AIPPI) and the Association des Anciens Stagaires de l'Union Européenne (ADEK).

Christian is furthermore a member of the German-Japanese Association of Jurists (DJJV), where he holds the position of spokesman for the state of Bavaria.

Juve refers to Christian as "frequently recommended lawyer" for patent litigation matters (Juve Handbook 2010/2011).
