Dr. Axel Godron – Partner

Axel's areas of practice include the establishment and restructuring of partnerships and corporations, joint ventures, acquisition and sale of companies and participations, general corporate law, succession into family owned companies and estate planning. His estate planning practice involves the drafting of wills and contracts of inheritance, planning for anticipated successions, transnational succession and the foundation of trusts. He also assists his clients in settling corporate and estate disputes.

Axel Godron obtained his legal education at the Universities of Wuerzburg and Munich, where he completed both German legal state exams in 2000 and 2002. He graduated as Dr. jur. in Cologne in 2005 and also holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Wuerzburg. Several internships in the US, the last one with a Chicago law firm in 2002, complemented his training. After spending one and a half years in an international law firm in Duesseldorf he joined Taylor Wessing in 2005.
