Andrew Hine is a partner in the rated Private Client Tax and Incentives group and his practice involves all elements of private client work. He advises clients, both resident and domiciled in the UK and overseas, on tax matters generally and has extensive experience in advising trustees and beneficiaries on all trust matters, both domestic and offshore, and related issues. Andrew advises trustees in a wide variety of financial centres: Jersey, Guernsey, Bermuda, Bahamas, Cayman Islands, British Virgin Islands and Liechtenstein.
He is experienced in the areas of probate, succession and wills. He has advised on substantial multi-jurisdictional probates, involving conflict of law issues and on contentious probates and contentious trusts. He is a member of the Association of Contentious Trust and Probate Specialists, the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners and the Heritage Group of Lawyers. He has significant experience of acting for both beneficiaries and trustees in multi party trust actions within the consent jurisdiction under both variation of trust applications or agreed compromises both in the UK and offshore jurisdictions.

Andrew graduated from Bristol University in 1986. He trained at Boodle Hatfield and was admitted as a solicitor in 1989. He has been a partner at Taylor Wessing since 1998.
