Janet was appointed as Senior Counsel in August 2009. She specialises in complex commercial litigation, including contractual claims, in particular relating to technology disputes, as well as shareholder/investor disputes, professional negligence and fraud.
Her experience in acting for clients in the technology sector in complex litigation/arbitration is extensive. Janet was, for example, the senior associate in the Taylor Wessing team dealing with a multi-million pound High Court claim relating to an IT project involving T-Mobile and LogicaCMG.
She is also experienced in litigation with a taxation angle, including in relation to alleged "carousel" trading, as well as judicial review and disciplinary investigations/proceedings taken against regulated entities and individuals.
