Sophia is a member of the Practice Area Trademarks and Designs. She advises on all aspects of intellectual property law, both contentious and non-contentious. Her practice has a strong focus on the media, IT, and consumer goods industries.
Sophia studied Law at Bucerius Law School, Hamburg, and at Sheffield University, UK. After the first legal state exam Sophia wrote her Doctorate thesis on a Constitutional Law Issue at Bucerius Law School, Hamburg.
Sophia did her legal clerkship in Hamburg, most of it with respect to Intellectual Property and Copyright Law as well as Media and Music Law. She joined our Hamburg office in January 2011.
Sophia is member of the German Association for Intellectual Property Law (GRUR).
Sophia, a native German speaker, is fluent in English and French.
