Virginie is an associate in the Brussels office who joined Taylor Wessing in 2006.
She specialises in corporate and commercial law, and dispute resolution.
She studied her law degree at the Facultés Universitaires Saint-Louis and the Université Libre de Bruxelles. She also holds a certificate in legal studies (ERASMUS) from the University of Aberdeen School of Law (Scotland) and a LL.M. in banking, corporate and finance law from Fordham University School of Law (New York).
After completing her LL.M., Virginie worked for McGuireWoods in Brussels where she provided legal advice in connection with Belgian and international corporate transactions and housekeeping.
Since 2011, she also holds a Masters Degree in corporate law from the Hogeschool-Universiteit Brussel.
She is a member of the Brussels Bar and an attorney with the New York Bar.
She is the author of the following law review articles:
- “International Protection of Foreign Investment”, chapter on Belgium, Juris Publishing, 2011 edition
- “Aandachts- en actiepunten voor het bestuur van een onderneming bij dreigende insolventie”, DAOR 2010/94, 119-148 (co-author)
