Thomas has been working in the IT Department of Taylor Wessing‘s Frankfurt Office since 2007. During his studies at the Johann-Wolfgang-Goethe University in Frankfurt and his professional training at the Regional Court of Frankfurt am Main, he specialised in intellectual property law, in particular copyright law, multimedia law and data protection. His doctorate from the University of Marburg focussed on the copyright protection of databanks in the internet.
His practice at Taylor Wessing concentrates on media and copyright issues relating to information technology, as well as the implementation of data protection in restructuring and outsourcing projects, including outsourcing in the context of international cloud computing.
