Stephan is partner at the Munich office since 1999 and is heading the German
Capital Markets department of the firm. Apart from multinationals, banks and listed corporations, his range of clients also includes technology-driven medium-sized companies. He specializes in on- and off-market equity capital finance, listings, capital market-orientated corporate acquisitions and compliance in capital markets. Although Stephan advises clients and handles transactions of various industries, he has particular industry know-how in the field of optical and laser technologies.
He studied law at the universities of Saarbrücken and Cologne and, after an internship at the legal department of the Central Bank of Bavaria, passed his legal state exams in Cologne and Düsseldorf. After the second state exam he moved to Munich where he was admitted to the bar in 1996.
Stephan is a member of several supervisory boards, including of Panasonic Electric Works Europe AG, and has authored a number of publications on stock market and capital market-related topics.
