Stefan Feckl specialises in banking and banking regulatory law as well as loan-based corporate financing. His clients include both German and overseas clients such as cross-border institutions and their shareholders within the jurisdiction of Germany. His practice includes in particular advising on the formation or purchase of institutions and providing advice on the operative business, such as the development and introduction of new products and cross-border banking and financial services extending to Germany. Furthermore, Stefan Feckl advises companies and their shareholders on loan-based re-financing and new financing.
Stefan Feckl studied law at the Universities of Göttingen, Christchurch (New Zealand) and Johannesburg (South Africa) as well as economics at the University of Göttingen. In 2000 Stefan Feckl began his professional career at KPMG Deutsche Treuhandgesellschaft AG and then moved in 2002 to Beiten Burkhardt Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH. In 2003 he successfully completed his LL.M in international private and economic law at the University of Pretoria (South Africa). In 2010 Stefan Feckl joined the Frankfurt Office of Taylor Wessing as a Partner.
Stefan Feckl is the author of a number of specialist articles and he is a regular speaker at presentations concerning his areas of legal expertise.
