Sonja Ackermann is a member of the Practice Area Commercial Agreements. She is specialised in advising national and international corporate clients on purchasing, distribution (in particular e-commerce, commercial agency, authorised dealers) and product liability. Her areas of practice comprise the structuring of legally sound distribution systems and purchase and supply relationships, the advising on all issues of daily business and the representation of clients in and out of court. Her clients include in particular companies from the automotive and automotive supply sectors, technology-oriented enterprises and companies from the pharmaceutical and medical devices industries.

After having studied in Passau, London und Bonn Sonja Ackermann passed her legal state exams in 2000 and 2006 in Cologne. In 2002 she studied at the University of Oxford and was awarded the degree of Magister Juris in European and Comparative Law. In 2006 Sonja Ackermann earned her doctor’s degree with a dissertation on international takeover law. Sonja Ackermann joined Taylor Wessing in 2007. After working as a judge at the civil division of the Munich district court in 2010 she rejoined the Taylor Wessing Munich office in 2011.

Sonja, a German native speaker, is fluent in English.
