Nicole is a member of the practice area Corporate. She advises national and international companies on national and cross-border M&A and private equity transactions. The industry focus of Nicole lays on Life Sciences, where she regularly advises in close cooperation with the Life Sciences team in transactions with Life Sciences aspects and cooperation- and partnering projects.
As Swiss citizen with a Swiss diploma and admission to the bar as Swiss attorney she also offers advice in issues relating to Switzerland.
In 2004 Nicole earned an “LL.M.Eur.“ degree in international and European business law at Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich. She passed the two legal state examinations in 1999 and 2002 and trained as a notary public in Basel, Switzerland. In 2006 she passed the qualifying test for European attorneys in Düsseldorf and was admitted to the German bar. Before joining Taylor Wessing in June 2006 she worked for international law firms in Germany and Switzerland.
Since 2008, Nicole Battistini-Kohler is a teacher at the Munich Business School and the Center for Digital Technology and Management, a joint institution of the Ludwig Maximilians University and the Technical University in Munich.
Nicole, a native German speaker, is fluent in English and French, and has a basic knowledge of Italian.
