Morten Merx is a member of our life sciences & healthcare group. His clients include international enterprises engaged in the development, manufacture and sale of pharmaceuticals and medical devices. He advises on advertising and distribution issues as well as on regulatory, contractual and social security questions. Further, Morten litigates on behalf of companies, especially in healthcare advertising disputes.
Morten Merx passed the legal state exams in 1998 and 2001 and was admitted to the bar in February 2002. Before he joined our Munich office in December 2006, he worked for two law firms both specialised in advising research-based pharmaceutical companies. As secondee, Morten joined the German legal department of one of the world’s leading research-based healthcare companies, as well as the legal department for business development of a pharmaceutical company with leadership positions in both patented and generic pharmaceuticals.
Morten Merx publishes and gives lectures on life science issues. He is a member of GRUR (German Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property).
