Mathias focuses on real estate transactions, the law of landlord and tenant, banking law and the law of credit and security as well as litigation. He advises enterprises, financial institutions and private clients.
After his legal studies in Berlin, Passau and Munich, Mathias took the First and Second Legal State Examinations in Munich in 2000 and 2002. From 2002 to 2003 he attended a one-year course at University College London where he obtained the degree of Master of Laws (LL.M.). In 2007 Mathias was awarded the degree of Ph. D. by PassauUniversity for his thesis on “mandatory rules” in German and English international law of contract.
