Marc Müller is a specialist lawyer for employment law and advises companies on all areas of individual and collective employment law. One of the focal points of his collective employment law practice is the drafting and negotiation of systems for working hours and remuneration as well as advising on restructuring measures, including all questions relating to the transfer of business and outsourcing, and any changes to operations such as staff reductions.

Marc Müller advises companies on the formation of European Public Companies (Societas Europaea – SE) and on all issues relating to the participation of European employees in an SE, including the negotiation of SE employee participation agreements.

Marc Müller has particular experience with the drafting of contracts for members of management such as managing directors and members of executive boards. This also encompasses the structuring of salaries and post-contractual prohibitions on competition.

Furthermore, Marc represents companies and management in disputes before the courts.

Marc Müller completed his legal education in Hamburg, Lausanne, London and New York and passed his first and second State Examinations in Hamburg in 1998 and 2002. He joined our Hamburg office in December 2002 and became a certified specialist lawyer for labour and employment law in 2006.

Marc Müller regularly gives lectures and seminars on employment law. He is a lecturer at the University of Applied Sciences (Hochschule für Angewandte Wissenschaften) and a member of both the Employment Law Working Committee of the German Association of Lawyers (Arbeitsgemeinschaft Arbeitsrecht des Deutschen Anwaltvereins) and the Hamburg Association of Lawyers (Hamburger Anwaltverein).
