Dr. Klaus Willenbruch – Partner

Dr. Klaus Willenbruch is a lawyer and certified specialist in administrative law with an emphasis on public business law including mainly public procurement law, state aid, planning and zoning, environmental law and the law of regulated businesses. He advises companies mainly in the sectors of traffic and infrastructure, waste and waste water, water and energy, public health and public housing. He represents public entities as well as private companies, including out of court representation and litigation.

Following studies in Hamburg and Johannesburg, South Africa and after one and a half years as research associate (University of Hamburg) Dr. Klaus Willenbruch passed his legal examinations in 1977 and joined the firm. He has been a partner since 1979.

Dr. Klaus Willenbruch regularly publishes articles in the field of administrative law, mainly public procurement law. He is co-author in one of the leading legal commentaries (Byok/Jaeger, Vergaberecht, 2. Auflage 2005). He is a member in British-German Jurists Association and chairman of the board of the Auxiliary Funds of German Lawyers.
