Kathleen is a senior associate in the Intellectual Property department, specialising in patent matters, particularly litigation and strategy advice in a variety of industry sectors including pharmaceuticals, telecommunications, electronics, IT, banking, biotechnology and chemical industries.
Kathleen provides litigation and strategy advice, including strategy advice concerning patent portfolios, multi-jurisdictional co-ordination, interim injunctions, infringement and validity litigation in High Court, Court of Appeal and House of Lords, and oppositions before the European Patent Office.
Kathleen graduated from the University of Durham with a BSc in Mathematics and Physics. She trained with the firm (as Taylor Joynson Garrett) and attended Bristol University's post‑graduate diploma course in Intellectual Property Law.
She contributes to industry journals including Managing Intellectual Property and Bio-Science Law Review.
