Julia Maria is a member of the Practice Area Trade Marks and Design. She advises on all aspects of intellectual property law and media law, both contentious and non-contentious. Her practice focuses on the media industries as well as clients from the consumer IT, goods sector, the fashion and cosmetic industry.
Following her legal studies at the University of Bonn she passed the First State Exam in 2005 before the Higher Regional Court of Düsseldorf. She then graduated from the University of London with the degree of Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Intellectual Property Law. Julia Maria did her legal clerkship in Hamburg, most of it with respect to Intellectual Property / Copyright Law as well as Media and Music Law.
Julia Maria is member of the GRUR.
Julia Maria has published about the commercialisation of human bodily substances and genetic information within the area of bio banks.
Julia, a native German speaker, speaks fluently English and Polish, and has basic command of French.
