Julia is a member of the Practice Area Patents in our Munich Office. Her work for Taylor Wessing is concentrated on advising and representing international and German clients in court and out-of-court disputes.
Julia studied at the University of Rostock where she passed her 1st State Exam in 2004. Afterwards she enrolled for an interdisciplinary course of studies focussing on industrial property law and was awarded the degree of LL.M. International Business Law. Based on these studies Julia wrote a dissertation on Antitrust and Intellectual Property law and subsequently spent 6 month in the legal department of an international company based in London. As a trainee lawyer she was employed by an international law firm in the UK before she passed her 2nd state exam in 2009. Before joining Taylor Wessing in 2012 Julia worked for in the Patent and Licence department of a global acting industrial company.
A native speaker of German, Julia is fluent in written and spoken English.
