Johanna is a member of the Practice Areas „Information Technology/ Telecoms“ and „Copyright and Media Law“ in our Munich Office. Her scope of work includes the entire spectrum of intellectual property related matters with a special focus on software and technology licensing. Johanna also advises in all aspects of competition and advertising law as well as copyright law. Her range of activities includes license agreements, strategic advice on industrial property rights, litigation and alternative dispute resolution as well as IP driven transactions.

Johanna studied laws in Freiburg, Paris and Munich. At the University of Freiburg, she worked as research assistant at the Chair for criminology and white collar crime. During her law studies at the University of Paris XII, she focused on European intellectual property and competition law, and obtained the French law degree “maîtrise en droit”. Johanna completed her law studies as well as the legal traineeship in Munich. Before joining Taylor Wessing in 2010 Johanna had already been working for a US-american law firm specializing on media law and IP litigation.

In addition to her native German, she is fluent in English and French and has a good command of Spanish.
