Joanne joined Taylor Wessing in December 2011.  She has two core areas of expertise within the construction and engineering sector: resolving complex, high value, multiparty disputes and the NEC3 family of contracts.  Her particular focus is procuring complex engineering projects (including contract management, dispute avoidance and resolution) having acted for a number of years for a major transport operator.

Joanne regularly speaks and lectures on the NEC3 contract and is due to speak at the NEC Users Group Conference in April 2012. 

She is named as a leading expert in Legal Experts 2011 Directory and is recommended in Legal 500 for construction law. 

Joanne is qualified in English and Scots law and has an MSc in Construction Law from King's College, London.  She retains an interest with King's continuing to tutor current students.  She is a Member of the Society of Construction Law and the Adjudication Society.
