Dr. Jens Wolf advises national and international clients on M & A transactions and corporate structuring as well as in the field of stock corporation and group law. He focuses on acting for private equity houses, venture capitalists and technology companies.
Jens studied law at the University of Hamburg and at the London School of Economics. After the First Legal State Exam in 1997, he worked as a legal advisor to the Budget Committee of the Buergerschaft (state parliament) of Hamburg and free-lanced with an agency for media consulting and public relations. Jens completed further legal training in Washington, D.C. and Hamburg. He successfully passed his Second Legal State Exam and took his Doctor of Law Degree in early 2002. Since that time he has been working for Taylor Wessing.
Jens regularly publishes articles on private and public economic law issues. He is the author of numerous articles concerning stock corporations, company transformations, the public sector, cross border transactions, and corporate governance.
In addition to his professional activities as a lawyer, Jens Wolf is a lecturer at the University of Hamburg and a Member of the Bezirksversammlung (local parliament) of the District of Hamburg-Nord. He is a member of the German-American Lawyers' Association (GALA).
