Jens is specialised in national and international bank and finance law including bank litigation. In addition to his work in general banking law he also has extensive experience in acquisition, real estate and project finance transactions for banks as well as investors. His scope of work further includes restructuring of companies.
Jens studied law at Bucerius Law School in Hamburg. Following his First Legal State Exam in 2005 he went on to graduate from Chicago-Kent with a master´s degree. Afterwards Jens completed his doctoral dissertation in the field of non-profit-organizations. His legal traineeship included stages in Shanghai as well as internships at leading international law firms in Düsseldorf and New York. Jens passed his Second Legal State Exam in 2009.
Jens, a native German speaker, is fluent in English, and has a basic knowledge of French.
