Henning Moelle is a partner in our Frankfurt office specialising in commercial litigation, product liability litigation and product safety regulation. His clients include companies from the consumer products industries and from the drug and medical device sector. Henning has been acting in several major product liability cases (e.g. advising Bayer AG in context with its cholesterol-lowering drug Lipobay® / Baycol®). He represents clients before German courts or advises them on the co-ordination of their legal defence at an international level or in the context of transatlantic litigation. Further, Henning regularly advises clients in matters of regulatory product compliance and precautionary risk management. He has counselled companies in many national and international product recalls and represents clients in litigation on warranty claims and claims for redress within the manufacturing and supply chain.

Henning Moelle studied law in Germany and Italy. He obtained a doctorate degree in law (Dr. iuris) from the University of Passau, Germany (1995) and the degree of a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from the University of Nottingham, UK (2005). After his German legal state exams (1992 and 1996), he initially pursued an academic career at an institute for business law of the University of Hamburg. He then became admitted as a Rechtsanwalt (attorney-at-law) in 1997 and worked with the law-firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer. He became a partner of our firm in March 2009.

Henning Moelle is the author of several legal publications and regularly acts as a speaker on issues of national and international product liability and product safety laws. Among others, he is a member of the International Association of Defense Counsel (IADC).
