Hendrik advises clients in all aspects of corporate and insolvency law. He focuses on national and cross-border M&A and NPL transactions. Further, Hendrik has extensive experience advising major banks and international investors as creditors or investors with regard to engagements in distressed assets or insolvency scenarios. As a member of numerous creditors’ committees Hendrik has worked in well known insolvency proceedings on successful restructurings of the debtor’s business.
Hendrik is also experienced in advising issuers and interest holders with regard to capital markets law. He focuses on Derivates (German Derivative Master Agreements, ISDA Master Agreements), (C-) PECS and Tier Instruments.
Hendrik studied law in Freiburg and Cologne and passed his university and state examinations in 2000 and 2003. He earned his doctorate in 2003 and started working as a lawyer with the German law firm Heuking, Kühn, Lüer, Wojtek in Düsseldorf in 2003. From 2005 through 2010 Hendrik worked in the Frankfurt and Munich office of the US law firm Weil, Gotshal & Manges. Hendrik joined the Munich office of Taylor Wessing as partner in 2011.
