Harald Bechteler's main practice areas are international commercial and procedural laws as well as insolvency law. He has wide experience in complex national and international litigation e.g. on the law of damages, commercial law and the law of contracts for work and services. Additionally he advises international group companies on the structuring of their distribution systems but also on their internal relations as to deliveries. Moreover he represents companies affected by a crisis in the implementation of restructuring, reorganisation or other rescue measures.  

Harald Bechteler has worked as a lawyer since 1998. His professional training included an intership with a law form in Jersey, Channel Islands. He is a member of the working group Arbeitsgemeinschaft Insolvenzrecht of the German Association of Lawyers, the DAV (DeutscherAnwaltVerein) and of the banking law association  BrV (Bankrechtliche Vereinigung - Wissenschaftliche Gesellschaft für Bankrecht e.V.) and has, amongst others, published articles in the magazine Financier Worldwide.
