Frederick provides advice in all areas of company law and has specialised in mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructurings and joint ventures, at home and abroad. Beyond national and international M & A work for either vendor or purchaser, Frederick deals regularly with Private Equity and Venture Capital transactions as well as Management Buy Outs and Buy Ins, including leveraged transactions. Due to his extensive experience in complex and sizeable projects for prominent clients over a number of years and in a variety of businesses, Frederick has a broad expertise in transaction management. Furthermore, Frederick advises on all aspects of commercial law.
Frederick studied law at the University of Bonn and passed his legal state exams in 1993 at Bonn and 1997 at Berlin. Frederick graduated as Dr. jur. in 1999 under supervision of Prof. Dr. Marcus Lutter at the University of Bonn. Between 1998 and 2004, Frederick worked with another leading international law firm in Düsseldorf, Germany, and Morgan Stanley in London, before joining Taylor Wessing's Düsseldorf office in 2005.
