Head of Projects (UK)
Dominic advises on a range of projects and corporate matters, including project development and finance, mergers & acquisitions, investment funds, corporate reorganisations and commercial contracts. A significant part of his practice is in the energy and infrastructure sectors, advising on early stage investment, development, financing, acquisitions and disposals.
Dominic's clients include international energy companies, developers, investment funds, family offices and multinational corporations. He has advised on projects in the UK and other European countries, the Middle East and Africa including conventional and renewable energy projects (oil and gas, power, gasification, wind, biomass, biofuel and solar plants), airports, alumina and aluminium production and utilities outsourcing.
He advises on the structuring and establishment of investment funds including energy and infrastructure, carbon and technology funds, and advises on the investment activities of those funds.
Dominic also advises on emissions trading and emission reduction projects and agreements.
Dominic was seconded to the principal finance group of a major investment bank on two occasions. He has spoken at various conferences and published articles on subjects including the development of EU renewable energy legislation, contracting for carbon and voluntary offsetting. He was educated at Downside and the University of London. In 2004 he was named as one of the “Lawyer Hot 100” in The Lawyer.
