Daniel is a member of the Practice Area Employment and Pensions. He advises national and international companies as well as directors and board members on all issues of individual and collective employment law and represents his clients in and out of court. The main focus of his activities as lawyer is the specialization in temporary employment law and employment criminal law.
Daniel studied law in Heidelberg, Adelaide and Cologne. He passed his two legal state exams in 2004 and 2008. In 2004 and 2005 he wrote a doctoral thesis related to criminal law and worked for an international law firm, where he was involved in employment issues. He has worked in Munich as lawyer since 2008.
Daniel lectures on employment law-related topics (including compliance) also in front of international audience. He is lecturer at the Munich Business School and periodically publishes employment law-related articles in leading law journals.
Daniel Hautumm is a member of the labour law working group of the German Lawyers' Association.
Daniel, a native German speaker, is fluent in English.
