Daniel is a Brazilian lawyer at Taylor Wessing’s Hamburg office and a member of the “Brazil Group”. Daniel is specialized in corporate law, with vast expertise on incorporation of companies and M&A transactions. Before joining Taylor Wessing in 2011, Daniel worked for more than 15 years at one of the most renowned Brazilian law firms in Sao Paulo, where he assisted many foreign and Brazilian clients in their M&A transactions. Daniel is a member of the German-Brazil Chamber of Commerce in Sao Paulo.
In 1999, Daniel graduated from Mackenzie University in Sao Paulo, having concluded his studies with his thesis in Commercial Law and was admitted to the bar by the Brazilian Bar Association (Ordem dos Advogados do Brasil – OAB). In 2004, Daniel concluded his post-graduation studies at IBMEC (Brazilian Institute of Capital Market).
Daniel, a native speaker of Portuguese, is fluent in English and French. In addition, he has a good command of German and Spanish.
