Christine Weyand has been working in the Frankfurt office of Taylor Wessing since February 1999 predominantly in the fields of general Civil Law, Trade Law, Insurance and Telecommunications Law. A further area of her practice includes the representation of artists and producers in the music industry in the fields of Copyright and Media Law.
After completing her law studies at the Universities of Mainz and Frankfurt/Main, Christine Weyand worked as a trainee at the Court of Appeal in the judicial circuit of Frankfurt/Main. There she gained an in-depth knowledge in the field of litigation. In the period from 1996 to 1998, Christine Weyand worked part-time in the legal department of a phonograms and record company dealing with contractual matters in the field of Copyright and Ancillary Copyright Law. Following on from the Second Legal State Exam in June 1998, she worked in the legal department of a public radio establishment in the field of Copyright and Media Law. Christine Weyand was admitted to the Bar in 1998.
