Carsten specialises in advising on IT and technology-based projects, transactions and contracts such as licensing and distribution agreements, research and development contracts, OEM contracts and outsourcing agreements. He advises international and national providers as well as customers from various industry sectors including information technology, capital goods, plant engineering and construction, real estate, commodities and life science. Carsten provides advice, which encompasses all legal aspects starting from business development through to implementation and ultimately to project completion. He also offers advice and representation in and out of court when projects experience difficulties and where projects and contractual relationships actually fail.
Carsten completed his education in Hamburg, where he also obtained his doctorate in law. Before joining Taylor Wessing in 2005, he worked for a national law firm in Berlin and Munich.
Carsten holds the qualification of specialist lawyer for information technology law. He is co-author of a number of books and author of numerous articles for law magazines.
