Axel Bösch has been advising and representing national and international clients for more than 25 years in the areas of cross-border transactions, foreign investments, joint ventures and merg-ers and acquisitions. Axel Bösch regularly acts as advocate, arbitrator or mediator in national and cross-border cases under various rules. Axel Bösch heads up TaylorWessing’s practice area of General Corporate and Dispute Resolution and is in charge of TaylorWessing’s French desk. French manufacturers, banks and credit insurers have instructed him for a number of years.
After admission to the German Bar, Axel Boesch graduated from New York University in 1985 and was admitted to the New York Bar in 1986. In 2006 he qualified as a mediator at TENOS Academy, Hamburg. After working with Donovan and Leisure in New York and Paris he joined the German predecessor of TaylorWessing in Hamburg.
Axel Bösch is the editor of the "Handbook of Provisional Remedies in International Arbitration" published in cooperation with colleagues from 36 other countries (De Gruyter 1994).
He is a member of the German Institution for Arbitration (DIS), the German-French Mediation Centre and the Hamburg Centre for Mediation of Commercial Disputes. Axel Bösch is regularly appointed by the ICC (International Chamber of Commerce), Paris, as mediator or arbitrator in cross-border cases.
His mother-tongue is German and he is fluent in English and French.
