Anna Izzo-Wagner is specialised in the areas of banking law and banking regulatory law as well as securities law and securities regulatory law. She advises clients from Germany and abroad on German legal issues. Her practice includes advising on the formation or purchase of institutions as well operative business such as product development issues and cross-border banking and financial services extending to Germany. Anna Izzo-Wagner also advises issuers and providers of securities on a variety of legal questions relating to securities.
Anna Izzo-Wagner studied law at the Universities of Frankfurt am Main and Florence (Italy) and completed her First State Examination in 2003. She then obtained a Masters Degree on European and International Company Law specialising in banking law and international corporate law. Following traineeships in Frankfurt and Berlin, she completed her Second State Examination in 2006. Anna Izzo-Wagner began her career in the same year at a middle-sized German law firm in Frankfurt focussing on international business law. At the same time she worked on her doctorate. From 2008 to 2010 she worked at Beiten Burkhardt Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH in the field of Banking & Finance/Capital Markets. In December 2010 Anna Izzo-Wagner joined the Taylor Wessing office in Frankfurt.
Anna Izzo-Wagner is a member of the German-Italian Lawyers Association.
As well as German, Anna Izzo-Wagner speaks fluent English and Italian.
