Amanda is a Partner in RHTLaw Taylor Wessing’s Corporate and Securities Practice and China Practice Group. She is also an appointed Registered Professional with RHT Capital Pte. Ltd., an approved continuing sponsor on Catalist, the sponsor-supervised board of the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited.

Amanda has been based in Singapore since late 2003. Prior to this, she practiced in the PRC for four years and subsequently pursued her Masters degree in Australia. Her main area of expertise lies in transactions with PRC elements, including initial public offerings ("IPOs"), mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and foreign direct investments.

She has been involved in the IPO and listing of leading companies from various industries on the regional stock exchanges, such as SGX-ST, Hong Kong Stock Exchange, Malaysia Stock Exchange and Indonesia Stock Exchange.  Her recent notable capital markets transactions include the IPO and listing of CW Group Holdings, a precision engineering solutions provider and machine tool manufacturer and distributor, on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. 

Her experience in mergers, acquisitions and divestments includes acting for companies listed on the SGX-ST, such as acting for FirstLink Investment Corporation Limited in its disposal of assets in the PRC, acting for China Fashion Holdings Limited in its disposal of assets in the PRC and acting for Asia Water Technology Ltd. in its acquisition of a water treatment group in the PRC through various intermediary companies.

Amanda has spoken and moderated panel discussions at seminars and conferences on the topics of China employment law reforms, foreign investments in China, and on internal controls and risk management.
