Alice is an associate within the Restructuring and Corporate Recovery group. Her experience covers corporate insolvencies (both non-contentious and contentious) and restructuring and bankruptcy.
Alice acts for banks, financiers, insolvency practitioners, directors, institutional landlords and other stakeholders of distressed and insolvent businesses.
Recent work includes:
- acting for PwC as administrators of a substantial property development involving UK and BVI companies;
- advising Ernst & Young as LPA receivers of various leisure properties owned by Irish investors;
- advice to both office holders and creditors in retention of title issues in insolvency;
- acting for various administrators on sales of insolvent businesses (including pre-packs);
- advising directors of insolvent/potentially insolvent companies in respect of wrongful trading and antecedent transactions; and
- advising pensions schemes on insolvency matters.
Educated at the University of Bristol Alice obtained her LPC at the College of Law in London and trained with the firm before qualifying in September 2007.
