Adam was Head of the Real Estate department at Taylor Wessing from 2003-7. He has considerable experience in a wide range of commercial property issues. He advises a number of corporate clients on all their property requirements, as well as handling a large variety of commercial and residential developments, together with many investments, acquisitions and disposals. He became the Taylor Wessing UK senior partner in 2011.
Adam has considerable experience in the leisure and hotel sectors, as well as acting on a number of retail shopping centre schemes. He has also been the principal advisor to a major serviced office provider for many years. In recent years, Adam has also acted on a large number of cross-border real estate transactions.
Recent examples of his experience include:
- purchases, on behalf of a variety of clients, of a number of main town shopping centres and the subsequent management of those Centres
- acting for a developer on the purchase and subsequent redevelopment of an office building in the City of London, including the negotiation of a new extended lease from the Corporation of London permitting such development;
- acting in connection with the proposed redevelopment of Brentford FC and the regeneration of the surrounding areas;
- sales and purchases of a variety of commercial investment properties;
- providing strategic advice on a wide range of landlord and tenant issues; and
- supervising the acquisition of a portfolio of properties in Germany for a combined purchase price in excess of 200m.
