"Gunbritt will be taking a practitioner’s look at the effects of the current Eurozone crisis on the insurance market in Europe. From her continental perspective, she will explain the history and the mechanism of the Eurozone and will examine in detail the origin as well as the current status of the Euro crisis. Against this background, she will outline the main threats for the European insurance industry. In her outlook on future developments Gunbritt will be paying specific attention to the pending EU harmonisation of the insurance regulatory rules pursuant to Solvency II directive."
