Richard is a partner in the Corporate Tax practice, having joined the firm in 2012. He had previously been a tax partner at Slaughter and May for 21 years.
Richard advises principally on corporate taxation. His main areas of practice are the tax aspects of UK and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate reorganisations and public offerings, as well as private equity transactions, asset finance transactions and financial restructurings.
Richard is co-author of the chapter on Leasing in "Tolley's Tax Planning" (revised annually).
