Head of Litigation & Dispute Resolution (France)

Paul-Albert Iweins was sworn in as a lawyer in Paris in 1973. In 1975, he set up a partnership with Emmanuel INBONA, a former solicitor specialised in civil proceedings. Winner of the "Concours de la Conférence du Stage" (a French State competition open to members of the Bar), the legal expertise which he developed in civil and penal law while with the law firm INBONA, IWEINS, CHARPENTIER-OLTRAMARE today leads him to take part in numerous lawsuits, in particular in the field of penal law as regards financial litigations. Further to becoming member of the Bar and, subsequently, of the National Bar Council, he was appointed as Chairman of the Bar, which office he held for 2 years (2002 and 2003) and he was Chairman of the National Bar Council.

In July 2004, he joined TAYLOR WESSING France in order to conduct the Litigations and Arbitrations department.

He is a member of the Legion of Honour and of the National Order of the Merit.
