Olivier heads our Public law & Projects practice in France. He advises both public and private entities on public business law issues (public procurement, concession, BOT, construction, environment, planning, public finance, privatizations…), regulated industries (energy, telecoms, natural resources, transport…) and projects development (PPP/PFI). He has extensive expertise in project financing, in particular in the environment, energy, infrastructure and real estate sectors, in France and abroad. Olivier also handles litigation before French, European and international courts, and has developed specific expertise in environmental regulation and public international law.
Admitted to the Paris Bar in 2000, and former head of Public-Private Partnership within a major French state-owned financial institution, Olivier worked in particular at the London and Paris offices of Allen & Overy and Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, before joining Taylor Wessing in September 2010.
Olivier, who graduated from the Institute of Public Business law, holds Master degrees in environmental law (University of Paris Sorbonne, 1998), and planning, construction and real estate law (University of Bordeaux, 1997). Olivier regularly publishes articles in the French press, and is teaching public law at the University of Versailles.
Fluent in English and Spanish, Olivier is a native French speaker.
