Lee is a senior associate in the Financial Institutions and Markets Group specialising in corporate finance transactions for substantial private and listed companies, including mergers and acquisitions, management buy-outs/buy-ins and joint ventures. The sectors in which Lee has transactional experience include financial services, healthcare, technology, business services, training and education, real estate and natural resources.
Lee is currently based in Singapore and is an active member of Taylor Wessing’s China & South East Asia practice working on a range of inbound and outbound corporate matters in the region.
Transactions upon which Lee has advised include IPOs and secondary issues on AIM and the Official List in London. He has experience of acting for investment banks, brokers and companies which include international issuers. Lee has also advised target companies and offerors involved in takeovers, both recommended and hostile in addition to offers by way of scheme of arrangement. He is also experienced in setting up investment funds in various jurisdictions (either on-shore or off-shore whether by way of a partnership or corporate structure).
Lee regularly provides general corporate and regulatory advice to shareholders and company officers of public and private companies. He also advises businesses looking to establish operations in the UK and across Europe from China and South East Asia.
