Kirstie McGuigan is a senior associate in the Private Client group specialising in trusts, tax and estate planning, contentious trusts and estates, administration of estates, wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, and charities.
Kirstie advises on a range of private client issues and in particular specialises in the resolution of disputes relating to the formation or administration of trusts and estates both in a UK and international context, together with non contentious matters such as trust creation and administration, including tax implications, the creation of charities, the drafting and preparing of wills, the administration of estates and related personal tax and succession planning.
Kirstie was ranked in the 2011 "Top 35 under 35" survey produced by Private Client Practitioner. She is a full member of STEP (the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners) and has spoken at a number of STEP conferences.
Kirstie is also a member of the Taylor Wessing LLP Charities Committee and is actively involved in pro bono work assisting and advising charities. Educated at the University of Liverpool (LLB Hons) and at The College of Law, Chester (LPC), she joined the firm in 2007 and qualified in 2004.
