James Robertson – Partner

James joined the firm with a team from another major City law firm where he was Head of the Corporate Finance department.  Prior to returning to private practice in 1998 James was in-house Counsel at BAT plc and latterly commercial director with responsibility for the Indian sub-continent.

James has rare experience having worked as a partner in private practice, is an accomplished business manager (having run businesses) and has also worked as in-house counsel.  He has also worked in Latin America, throughout Europe, the Middle East and Russia.

James's clients range from large financial institutions, but he also has extensive experience in acting for super-high net worth families in advising on running their corporate businesses.  In the "Legal 500" his clients stated that he was "creative and solution focused".
