Head of Construction & Engineering (UK)
Helen is the Head of Taylor Wessing's UK Construction & Engineering group. She provides construction advice and documentation for construction and engineering schemes (both public and privately funded) in the UK and internationally. Her clients include corporations and institutions owning, financing, investing in and procuring development, civil engineering and infrastructure projects. She has acted for sponsors and participants in major projects including schemes involving partnering, alliancing and PPP/PFI arrangements. She acts regularly for leading financial institutions advising on construction project financing. Helen also leads Taylor Wessing's Sustainability Initiative.
Helen is a Member (and past Council member) of the Society of Construction Law, a Member of the Board of Management of the British Council of Offices and a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
She is frequently asked to speak at conferences, review new specialist publications and often writes for and is asked for comment by the specialist construction press on construction law issues. She is a regular columnist for Building Magazine. Helen is listed in "Legal Experts 2009", "Who's Who Legal 2010", and recognised in both the Legal 500 and Chambers legal directories in her field.
