Amy is an associate in the Reconstruction and Corporate Recovery group. She joined the team on qualification in September 2009, having trained with the firm.

Amy acts on both contentious and non-contentious insolvency matters as well as corporate restructurings.  She advises banks, corporate clients, landlords, directors and insolvency practitioners in respect of all areas of insolvency law.

Recent work includes:

  • advising a clearing bank on the restructuring of a £132m Shariah compliant facility;
  • advising the directors of a range of corporate clients on their duties, obligations and liabilities in potential insolvency situations; and
  • advising insolvency practitioners on their appointment and the general management of insolvent companies including sales out of administration.

Amy studied Law with German at Nottingham University before completing her LPC at Nottingham School of Law.
