Alain is highly specialized in corporate and commercial law with an emphasis on stock exchange matters and in particular IPO's (Initial Public Offerings) on the Paris, London and New York stock markets. He heads the Capital Markets and Securities department.  He also concentrates on Private Equity and Venture Capital matters, in particular for biotech companies. Alain is also in charge of developing the Firm's « Family Office » department.

Alain is a former member of the Paris Bar Council (2003-2005), a former chair of the European and International Affairs department of the Paris Bar (2005) and is a Member of the National Bar Council (2006).

Alain has been practicing as a lawyer since 1977.  He has degrees from the Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris, section Economy and Finance, and from the Centre d’Etudes Judiciaires as well as a BA in French literature (ParisUniversity) and a Masters in Business Law (ParisUniversity).  He spent several years as associate and then partner in Parisian and New York firms.  He was co-founder and Managing Partner of the Paris office of New York based law firm LeBoeuf, Lamb, Greene & MacRae LLP (1998-2005), before joining Taylor Wessing France in January 2006.
